Vildagliptin, metformin, and dapagliflozin are three drugs that are combined in antidiabetic tablets to treat type 2 diabetes: 

• Dapagliflozin
• Helps remove excess sugar from the body through urine. It also works in the kidneys to prevent the absorption of glucose (blood sugar). 
• Vildagliptin
• Helps control blood sugar levels by increasing the amount of insulin the pancreas releases. It also signals the liver to stop producing sugar when there is too much sugar in the blood. 
• Metformin
• Helps reduce the amount of glucose absorbed from food and the amount of glucose made by the liver. It also increases the body response to insulin.
