They belong to third-generation non-sedating antihistamine class of drugs that work by blocking H1 receptors resulting in inhibition of histamine activity. These tablets show very high bioavailability with protein binding ability of 90%. They get metabolized in liver with help of CYP3A4 enzyme having elimination half life of 6 to 10 hours. Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride Tablets are also admired for having ability to relieve symptoms of hay fever and increase blood supply in affected area.
