Ketoconazole

Ketoconazole Soap is antifungal formulation which is prescribed for treatment of cutaneous candidiasis, candidal paronychia, and pityriasis versicolor. Active compound present in this soap has chemical formula C26H28Cl2N4O4 with molar mass of 531.431 g/mol. It is also prescribed for treatment of dandruff caused due to fungal infection. This soap belongs to class of androgen receptor antagonist and is known to work in two different ways. Ketoconazole Soap is topical formulation which shows high effectiveness against seborrhoeic dermatitis of scalp with no adverse side effects if used under prescription. It is gently applied to affected area with little application of water before washing.
