PATCHOULI ESSENTIAL OILS

Patchouli essential oil is steam distilled from the dry leaves, and is usually available as a fairly viscous, deep orange-brown oil.  The oil becomes a more intense color as it ages, and the older oil is preferred in the perfume industry for its more complex, mellow aroma.
