Stermed India has a long-standing presence in the pharmaceutical industry, with its journey beginning in 1988 under the vision of Late Shri Satpal Bansal Ji. The business started with Raman Medical, a wholesale pharmaceutical shop in Karnal, dealing with major pharmaceutical companies and gradually expanding its network and services.

In 2000, the next venture, Bansal Pharma, was started in Karnal for the trading of APIs and excipients. The company focused on supplying quality raw materials to pharmaceutical manufacturers along with timely delivery and complete documentation support.

In 2006, Bansal Pharma expanded its operations by opening a branch in Baddi to meet the growing requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. The company developed a strong network for sourcing pharmaceutical raw materials, including procurement from China, and became associated with several major industry players.

In 2014, the group entered pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing with a world-class facility for manufacturing 100 ml infusions. The facility follows stringent quality and regulatory requirements and started exporting to major regulatory markets within a year of commencement.

In 2017, the company entered the pharmaceutical marketing segment under the name Stermed India, offering finished dosage formulations across India with timely supply, distributor support and a product portfolio designed to meet the changing requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
