NAXORAM D500 TABLETS
Description
A combination tablet of naproxen and domperidone is primarily used to relieve migraine symptoms, including headache, nausea, and vomiting. It is also prescribed for other painful conditions, particularly those accompanied by stomach discomfort. How it works Naproxen: A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, inflammation, and fever by blocking the production of prostaglandins—chemicals responsible for these symptoms. Domperidone: An anti-nausea agent that prevents nausea and vomiting by blocking specific signals in the brain and enhancing the movement of the stomach and intestines. Primary Uses Besides treating migraines, this combination is effective for: Pain management: Relieves mild to severe pain from headaches, dental procedures, and post-surgery discomfort. Inflammatory conditions: Reduces joint pain, swelling, and stiffness associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and gout. Menstrual cramps: Alleviates severe period pain (dysmenorrhea). Musculoskeletal pain: Eases discomfort from muscle and bone issues such as back pain, sprains, and strains. Fever: Lowers fever linked to various conditions. Precautions Before using this medication, consult your doctor, especially if you: Are pregnant or breastfeeding Are taking other medications such as blood thinners, corticosteroids, or other NSAIDs Have a history of heart problems, ulcers, or digestive tract disorders Have liver or kidney disease
