IMIS is a family business, and is committed to Ayurveda and the principles of tradition, quality, and affordability. Run by an all-woman board, IMIS is a modern Ayurvedic company committed to upholding the trust of customers, Ayurvedic doctors and our staff for generations. In the ninety-odd years of our existence, IMIS has been making Ayurvedic medicine–sastric, patent and proprietary–that is trusted and respected in Southern India and beyond. IMIS was also a registered supplier to the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) for over ten years and to the AYUSH department of the State government of Andhra Pradesh. In the year 1929 Vaidya Vidwan Dubangunta Subramaniam came to Vijayawada with a small chest of herbs and medicines and started treating patients. Thus the first seed for IMIS was own.
