Ambroxol Hydrochloride is used to treat cough associated with excess mucus. It is used in the conditions of acute and recurrent bronchitis (airway infection), laryngitis (voice box infection), tracheitis (windpipe infection) and chronic diseases like chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
